CranioSacral Therapy (CST) - a very specialized hands-on therapy that is able to quickly locate & release what’s causing the symptoms. It’s focus is on the subtle movements in the body…for instance, just like our blood and breathing have a rhythm, each cell in our body has a rhythm too. Locating and releasing areas where the natural movement, or rhythm, is impeded is what CranioSacral Therapy is all about.
CranioSacral Rhythm (CSR) – a core rhythm in the body, caused by the movement of fluid around the brain & spinal cord. The fluid, known as Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) bathes and feeds the brain & spinal cord. The CSF moving up & down along the spinal cord causes our body to expand & contract. This expansion/contraction can be felt from the top of our head down to the toes.
Cranial Base (CB) – the place where the bottom of the head (cranium) meets the top of the neck (C1). This is a common area of abnormal restrictions and tension patterns that can contribute to a variety of health concerns, including Migraines/Headaches, Vertigo, Seizure Discorders, Anxiety, Depression and many other health issues.
